Project: Industry Input on Export Opportunities

The original intent was to combine industry insight with CDR’s technical expertise so that Wisconsin dairy exporters can focus on bringing desirable products to export consumers. The CDR proposal aimed to produce a range of new concepts that are market ready for production, based on insights gathered from prior project work as well as input from the processors themselves. The CDR proposed to combine feedback from stakeholders with prior work (market intelligence from DBIA and prior application work funded by DATCP) to develop recipes and processes that WI manufacturers can access for their production/marketing efforts. Prototypes will be made available to interested processors and CDR staff will be available for subsequent scale-up efforts.
