Video profile | Andrea is classically educated and trained as a Registered Dietitian (RD), with a bachelor's of science degree in community-medical dietetics. She has over 20 years of food and nutrition work experience in school systems, healthcare and most recently in grocery retail. Andrea has been at CDR since 2022 and works as the Center’s Outreach Program Manager, where she manages dairy industry and campus relations, plans events for technical audiences, coordinates communication projects and manages CDR’s extensive short course training program. She also lectures in CDR short courses on topics of nutrition and lactose intolerance.

Opening the eyes of consumers to help them see the foods they can eat, is what gets her excited about her work as a dietitian. Working with cheese people and dairy scientists is Andrea’s favorite part of her work at the Center for Dairy Research.
